The Lady Bobcats Pick Up Two Wins on the Road

Allendale, SC - This Thursday, the Lady Bobcats were back in action on the road against Johnston Community College.  In the first quarter, they started off with a half court press to take the lead.  The Lady Bobcats took a twenty-point half time lead.  In the second half, the Bobcats came out with the same energy and won their second game in January, 79-44.

Reagan Wilson had 18-points, 3-steals, and 6-rebounds.  Ashanti Broughton had 10-points and 17 rebounds, Joscelyne Myers had 16-points and 7-assists, and Chasity Selden added 13-points and 5-assists.

On Sunday, the Lady Bobcats traveled to Salkehatchie for their third conference game of the new year.  They went back and forth in the first quarter and took the lead.  The Bobcats ended the half up 9-points.  In the second half, the score stayed close the rest of the game.  The Bobcats kept the lead through the third quarter and built on that lead in the fourth, to win the game 65-46, for their fifth conference win.

Chasity Selden led the team in scoring with 17-points. Latanya Berry had a double-double with 11-points and 10-rebounds, while Ashanti Broughton finished with 9-points, 11-rebounds and 7-assist.
